Our subsidiary, Sarian Systems, located in Ilkley/Yorkshire/UK, manufacturers advanced wired and wireless IP routers designed for mission critical communications. Sarian primarily targets businesses in the retail, lottery, finance, telemetry and remote access markets. Its broadband and wireless routers are used for a wide variety of purposes, including broadband backup, network performance monitoring and EPOS transactions.
To join our Sales team we are looking for a
Sales Manager Eastern Europe (m/f)
Location: Austria / Czech Republic / Slovakia / Slovenia etc.
You will be the central contact person for our customer base within an assigned territory and you will be responsible for their support and encouragement. The Sales Manager will present new products, advise customers about assortment and placing of our products and generate sales. You will also proactively work on closing direct sales and manage our channel to position Sarian products as the preferred brand in their solutions. The geographical focus will be in Eastern Europe including Czech, Slovak Republics, Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro, Romania and Poland (excluding Russia and CIS), but some travel activity outside these regions must be expected. The position will be based in Austria or in any other country within the assigned territory. Essential Functions and Accountabilities: - Acquisition of new customers plus ongoing servicing and development of Sarian’s existing customers including direct sales to key accounts.
- Identification of customer requirements, problem-orientated consulting and perform professional sales negotiations.
- Meet and exceed sales and new business development quotas.
- Market observation and sales planning including accurate forecasting of future business from the allocated territory.
- Maintain detailed account profiles and activities, including statistics, forecasts and reports and update management on account status, business opportunities and trends on a regular basis.
- Assisting in the development of marketing material appropriate to the territory.
- Manage and travel to corporate trade-shows/special events.
Position Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in business or technology or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ years successful sales experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of telecommunications products or wireless/mobile products
- Business understanding in the areas of strategic selling, developing and maintaining good business relationships with key accounts
- Excellent presentation and organization skills with a talent for customer interaction at all levels, as well as the ability to clearly articulate technical material, cleverness
- Must have strong interpersonal & communication skills, a positive attitude, and a proactive & self-driven approach.
- Must be able to travel
- Fluent in English and at least one other eastern European language
