Necessary skills:
- 3D modeling, animation, texturing, shading and photo-realistic renders
- 2D compositing (compositing of few elements in final picture, tracking, color correction)
- creation and execution of creative concepts
Necessary knowledge:
Stated or related 3D software (3D Studio Max, Lightwave, Maya), and some of the top renderers.
Nod-based compositing software (Fusion, Nuke, Shake)
Advanced Photoshop skills
