The Senior Sales Consultant?s (f/m) job is to significantly increase the company's offshore service offerings and the number of offshore employees in the Professional Services segment (global delivery center) as well as to help the vertical sales units achieve their growth and profitability targets by analyzing their offshore components.
Verantwortungsbereich/Aufgaben
In this exciting position you will analyze our projects and determine which services can be produced by our global offshore units. You will provide a reliable supply and demand plan for offshore services that can be supplied globally (with focus on key accounts and major projects). In addition you will generate awareness of offshore services in the sales organizations in order to increase the sales of our offshore portfolio. Together with Sales you will develop, design and select new services with relevant offshore components and design corresponding delivery solutions and models. You will manage successful offshore offerings and develop cost calculations with standardized offshore services. You will also support our proposal creation team with regards to the positioning of offshore services and escalation management. You will convince our customers of the benefits of SISs offshore activities; in larger deals with offshore components, you will play a leading role with regard to negotiating strategy, service coordination and contract execution. Your job will also include hiring people in the offshore segment, improving the profitability of Professional Services and providing support for its international management.
Ausbildung
The position requires a university degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or a similar field.
Kenntnisse
You are familiar with the portfolio in the IT project business and have sales and negotiating experience on the managing board level. You are familiar with the relevant rules and regulations regarding contract negotiations and project management. Very good knowledge of written and spoken German and English is a must; other European, Indian and/or Russian languages would be an advantage.
Erfahrungen
You have solid experience in the professional services/consulting business and several years of sales experience with proven success (ideally with significant offshore components). You are also familiar with the German and European professional IT services market, particularly with respect to offshore and nearshore markets and competitors. You have experience in project management and in implementing offshore projects, as well as excellent sales and customer knowledge in the IT market (especially with regards to offshore services). You have successfully managed and coached complex and international proposal teams and collected the experience needed to manage international teams with members from different functions. Intercultural experience and skills (for example, with the Indian, Russian or Polish culture) round out your profile.
